Privacy policy

1. Data controller

Murtezi Lab Dental Sàrl, Chemin des Artisans 8, 1580 Avenches (Switzerland), is the controller for the personal data collected through this site. Contact: info@murtezilab.ch.

Processing is subject to the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP). Where the European GDPR applies, its provisions are also complied with.

2. What we collect

Contact form

When you write to us through the form, we collect:

• your name;
• the name of your practice or company, where given;
• your email address;
• your telephone number, if you provide it;
• the type of enquiry and the content of your message.

Please do not include identifying health data about a patient in this form. Discussions about a clinical case go through the usual channels agreed with your practice.

Technical data

The site's host records access logs (IP address, date and time of the request, page requested, browser). These logs serve security and the proper running of the service.

Fonts

Display fonts are loaded from Google Fonts. In doing so, your IP address is transmitted to Google. To avoid that transfer, the fonts can be self-hosted — see the "Contact" section below with any question.

3. Purposes and legal bases

• Answering your enquiry — pre-contractual steps or legitimate interest.
• Managing the relationship with your practice — performance of the contract.
• Keeping the site secure — legitimate interest.
• Meeting our legal obligations — in particular traceability of custom-made medical devices and accounting requirements.

4. Cookies and analytics

This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies and uses no analytics tool. No consent banner is therefore required.

Should a statistics tool be added later, this policy would be updated and, where required, your consent obtained beforehand.

5. Recipients

Your data is never sold, rented or passed to third parties for commercial purposes. It may be processed by our technical providers (host, form delivery service, mail provider), acting on our instructions and bound to confidentiality.

6. Retention

• Contact enquiries with no follow-up: 12 months.
• Client records and completed cases: for the duration of the business relationship, then as required by law (in particular 10 years for accounting records).
• Host access logs: per the host's own policy, generally a few months.

7. Security

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data: encrypted connection (HTTPS), restricted access to case files, regular backups. No transmission over the internet is entirely free of risk, however.

8. Your rights

Under the FADP you have the right:

• to access your personal data;
• to have inaccurate data corrected;
• to erasure, within the limits of our legal retention obligations;
• to object to processing based on legitimate interest;
• to data portability, where the conditions are met.

To exercise these rights, write to info@murtezilab.ch. Proof of identity may be requested. You may also lodge a complaint with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).

9. Changes

This policy may be adapted to reflect legal or technical developments. The date of the last update appears at the top of the page.
